Proactive receives many (and actively support) requests for work experience from prospective prosthetic, orthotic and physiotherapy students as well as those wishing to study courses such as medicine and biomedical engineering.
If you are interested in coming to Proactive to do work experience or to shadow a clinician for a day please send an email attaching you CV to clinic@proactiveprosthetics.co.uk outlining your reasons for wishing to do your work experience with Proactive.
We are a small business and the number of opportunities to spend extended time at the clinic are limited. We therefore cannot promise to accommodate all requests. We do offer all those who contact us about work experience the opportunity to attend an open evening for students. This event includes a tour of our clinic and manufacturing facilities, practical and patient demonstrations and the opportunity to talk to patients and members of our multi-disciplinary team.
Our next Open Evening for Students was to be held on April 29th 2020 but has been postponed due to the Coronavirus situation. A new date will be posted when there is clarity about when the situation may resolve.
