On Thursday 16th May 2019 Proactive and Remedy hosted an educational seminar. Our best ever!
Following on from a hugely successful seminar last year, we abandoned PowerPoint presentations (well almost!) and provided a day of small group interactive workshops. The participants, a mix of lawyers, insurers and case managers, enjoyed learning, by seeing and being involved, about the journey to successful rehabilitation following complex trauma covering the following areas:

Discussion and demonstrations of alternative forms of pain relief for amputees
Scars, Oedema and Pre-prosthetic Management
Education in a frequently overlooked area of rehabilitation of amputees

Upper Limb Prosthetics
Demonstrations of the latest technologies in this rapidly progressing area of prosthetics
Sports Prostheses
Not just for the Paralympians; returning to sport is an important part of the rehab journey

A team activity to illustrate the rehabilitation journey
