The Tokyo 2020 Paralympics are finally underway and Team GB are already performing well with a number of medals won over the last few days. At Proactive we are proud to be supporting Sophie Kamlish, Stef Reid, Richard Whitehead and Jonnie Peacock as they prepare and compete in Tokyo. We wish them well in their competitions over the coming week…. Richard Nieveen is also part of Team GB having been accredited by the British Paralympic Association as Team Prosthetist and is in Tokyo to support all of Team GB’s prosthetic needs. The final tweaks and preparations are done and the athletes are transferring from the holding camp to the Paralympic village prior to competing in their events. We are posting stories from Richard Nieveen, in Tokyo, on our social media and TikTok – please follow the links at the top of this page for some great insights from the holding camp and Paralympic village.
