There are different ways you can fund your treatment the main options being:
Self-referral
You can attend the clinic as a private patient paying for the treatment yourself, or through a relative, sponsor or employer.
NHS Referral
This can be a complicated process, but it is possible to have your treatment at a private clinic paid for by the NHS. This referral will come via your GP or via the Rehabilitation Consultant at the Disablement Service Centre (Limb Centre) you attend. Initial contact should be made with your GP if you would like to pursue this option. The funding for this need to authorized prior to you attending a consultation (?).
Insurance/Legal Claim
If you are involved in a legal claim and the other party has accepted liability you may qualify for treatment under the Rehabilitation Code or through interim payments. If it wasn't your solicitor who put you in touch with us we recommend that you speak with them regarding your options.
